Testimonials

We love that our preschooler and elementary children get to be at the same school and get to enjoy chapel together.  It’s a blessing to have a place where God’s word and truth are central and they are challenged academically and spiritually at age appropriate levels!

My daughter has attended MLCA for four years and has definitely benefited spiritually and academically through its excellent Catechesis program, which instills the values and meaning of the Scriptures.  These Biblical truths are then infused into the rigorous classical academic program.  Overall, this strong focus has given my daughter the tools to grow with a self discipline to learn and a base for positive character development.  The teachers and staff are very caring.  MLCA is a great investment for your child.

At the time our oldest daughter was approaching the start of kindergarten, local schools were increasing class sizes to levels out of our comfort zone.  Having taught preschool, I understood how difficult it could be to manage 14 preschoolers, and most kindergarten classes were reaching nearly 25 students.  In addition, my husband and I had a desire to keep our children in a Christ-centered school environment that partnered with us to reinforce our beliefs.  A friend recommended MLCA, and after our initial visit, we knew that would be our new school home.  At the time, we knew nothing of what Classical Education meant.  We have been at MLCA for 6 years, and I will say that the Classical model has allowed our children to flourish.  They are becoming forward thinkers and have knowledge, strength, and additional confidence that we attribute, largely, to the Classical curriculum.  While my children have been challenged academically each year, it is absolutely the loving and nurturing environment that we have valued most for our children.  MLCA teachers and staff have a passion for helping us to bring up the next generation of Christ Followers.

When I first enrolled my son in preschool at MLCA, I never thought I would enroll him in kindergarten, but I knew the classes would be smaller, and therefore, I felt that’s where my son would thrive.  Enrolling him in not only kindergarten but after that, first grade, has been a blessing.  The small classroom and the feel of “family” has led me to fall in love with MLCA.  I feel he is getting an education and opportunities that he would not get at a public school.

Having attended public schools as children ourselves, we have found it to be a blessing for our children to attend Messiah Lutheran Classical Academy.  We both agree that the Lutheran faith-based education our children receive at MLCA is building within them a very strong Christian and moral foundation.  Additionally, with small class sizes, our children’s educational advancement and maturity seem far ahead of similarly aged public school children.  Thank you MLCA!
