At Messiah Lutheran Early Childhood Center we strive to fulfill our children’s spiritual, emotional, social, and physical needs by surrounding them in a loving, Christian, educationally enriched environment, centered on helping each child achieve individual success, and to instill in them a desire and love for learning at a young age.
Understanding that the first five years of childhood are the most important in development and learning, we have created the latest curriculum that promotes hands-on learning and a core value system based upon Christian beliefs including:
-
Expressive and receptive language skills
-
Sensory-perceptual skills, especially visual and auditory
-
Reasoning skills or the ability to use prior bits of knowledge or learning to solve new problems
-
Fine and gross motor skills

-
Social skills necessary for effective
interaction with others
As well as an accelerated Pre-Kindergarten curriculum:
-
Identifying and writing letters
-
Identifying letter sounds
-
Developing pre-reading skills
-
Identifying and writing numbers
-
Counting to 100
-
Developing and refining fine motor skills
-
Introducing other basic Kindergarten concepts
