In our strings classes at MLCA, students experience classical music by playing either the violin or the cello.  Their appreciation for music grows as they perform pieces by classical composers such as Bach and Handel, fiddle tunes, and favorite Christmas carols.  Whether these classes provide a springboard into a lifetime of playing an instrument or not, students gain an increased ability to read music, an improved ear for music, and a stronger ability to concentrate and persevere.
